How to Use Course Reserves

This LibGuide is designed as a cursory glance on how to use Course Reserves at the Gramley Library

eBook Limits

Some eBooks only allow for a certain number of SIMULTANEOUS users.


To check to see how many people can use an eBook simultaneously:

  • For EBSCO eBooks: look at the bottom of the main page, just above the table of contents. You will see “Concurrent User Level,” which indicates how many people are able to use the eBook at a time.

  • For ProQuest eBooks: look under the title and author(s) at the top of the page. You will see how many copies the institution has access to.


     


     

  • For archive.org eBooks: Only one copy may be used at a time. In order to check books out from archive.org, you must register for a free account. If the copy is in use by another person, you may join a waitlist.
