Many counseling journals are available full-text online. The following list provides links to journals that you may access from your computer at home. Please note, however, that the databases to which we subscribe that includes the journals may not have all articles available full-text for all years, so note the years full text is available. If you find an article in a journal for which we do not have full text, you will be given an option to "Find a Copy." The ensuing screen then provides you an option to "Request Item from Another Library." After being prompted to sign in, it allows you to make an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request for the article. Before requesting items via ILL, please read the article abstract (available on the initial results screen) to verify that the article will be helpful to you.
Most articles are now sent electronically--when the ILL is processed by the owning institution, the link is sent back to our ILL. This link will then sent to you. Please be aware that some articles can not be downloaded and can only be accessed a set number of times before the link goes away.
Should you not be able to access the journals which follow, please report this to the library as soon as possible.
