Citation Styles

The art department does not require usage of a specific style guide when researching and writing papers. Chicago is encouraged, although students are allowed to use the style with which they are most familiar, most often being MLA. A copy of the 1993 Chicago Manual of Style is located in the main stacks in Gramley Library. The MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers is located at the desk in the reference area of Gramley Library.
