Gramley Library maintains an up-to-date collection of K-12 textbooks adopted by the state of North Carolina across a variety of subject. Textbooks are organized by subject and are shelved within the CMC. The following are just a few of the textbook series offered:
- Reading: Scott Foresman Reading, Holt's Elements of Literature, Prentice Hall Literature
- Math: Harcourt Math, MacMillan/McGraw Hill Math, SRA Math, Houghton-Mifflin Math Central, Prentice Hall Mathematics, Scott Foresman Math
- Social Studies: Harcourt Horizons, World Explorer
- Science: Harcourt Science, Science Interactions
- Health: Totally Awesome Health, Your Health
- Arts: Spotlight on Music, Adventures in Art
The previous list is just a sampling of the textbooks available. The CMC also includes past and present examples of assorted textbooks in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Advanced Math, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Geometry, Trigonometry, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Human Anatomy, Civics, History, World Civilizations and other high school subjects. The CMC also recently acquired all of the newly-adopted NC textbooks for 2013 in the career and technical education category.
